I started Nordic Walking with Bristol Nordic Walking in May of 2013 and was instantly hooked! Nordic Walking renewed my love of walking and being outdoors and I noticed the benefits immediately. The following year I jumped at the chance to train and become an instructor with Bristol Nordic Walking, leading my first class in August 2014, and continued as a walker on other instructors classes. What I love about Nordic Walking is it’s accessible for people of all ages and abilities and great for both body and mind and is sociable as well. It’s really fantastic seeing people’s physical and mental health improve rapidly when they start Nordic Walking.
