We’re pleased to announce our Bath Nordic Walking Christmas party on Friday 8th December ⛄
And if you’d like to work up an appetite beforehand, join Lindsay on a free 90 minute Nordic walk around beautiful south Bath (optional).
Starting in the historic small village of Southstoke, this lovely Nordic walk will take us towards the Millennium Viewpoint, through Grove Wood and towards Combe Hay.
We’ll follow the Cam Brook and the old Somerset and Dorset Railway line towards Midford, then traverse the fields back to picturesque Southstoke and our festive feast.
This walk is approx 5.5 km and will take around 90 minutes. There may be uneven terrain and some mud, but the walk is generally easy and accessible.
We’ll meet for the Nordic walk, and eat, at the community run Packhorse Inn, an ancient fifteenth century pub which gets rave reviews for its food.
The Packhorse boasts stunning views over beautiful Bath countryside and we’ve requested the best seats in the house. Here’s the Christmas menu that you’ll be choosing from.
The pub have asked us to book by 27th Nov, they may be able to squeeze extras in after if they have space.

Booking requires a £10 non-refundable deposit and you’ll pay the balance to The Packhorse on the day.
